Denise was born and raised in Miami, Florida. until she moved with her family to Rock Hill, SC in 1991. She has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration - Accounting. She worked as a Director of Student Accounts and Billing at a private school system in Charlotte, NC until she went on long-term disability with fibromyalgia. Now her efforts are for learning, growing, making and sharing better and healthier ways to live. This includes growing some of her own food on her half-acre property in the suburbs, and making healthy and safe bath and body products for her family as well as others.
